Foxy new music video
I loved working on the new music video for The Joy of Living. What a pleasure to spend a day with the band and artist Stanley Donwood on the Broomway – a spooky and magical location in Essex. Check out the film and buy the record here: Foxy Video
Dance classes for people living with dementia
This week I taught the second of five pilot classes of dance for people living with dementia at Age UK in Darlington. Two of my students from Teesside University are assisting me and there are some great dancers coming in from around the area. The programme is being supported by Tees Valley Dance. You can read more about the project in the Northern Echo here:
Honda Advert Extravaganza
The incredible Honda advert I worked on for several hundred hours last spring has arrived! If you squint you might be able to see me happily tumbling out of the vehicle at the start of the ad.
Max Mara Art Prize for Women: Corin Sworn
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Corin Sworn this past month, choreographing a film for her upcoming exhibition at the Whitechapel Gallery in London. We worked with a couple of incredible acrobats up in Edinburgh and I think it will be an exceptional exhibition. Check it out May 20th to July 19th, 2015. More info here
That’s Amore
We traveled to Liverpool, Ormskirk, Barnsley, Halifax, Bury, Norwich, and Runcorn. We met some amazing people: incredible crew, and generous audiences. We saw some sights and more often than not the inside the the local Premiere Inn. The “That’s Amore” tour is over for this season but you can still watch the film!

Comic Sans VS Times New Roman
When editing this video, videographer Alice asked me what the text should look like. It got me thinking about fonts, what they express, what we deduce about the person who uses Comic Sans or Times New Roman. Are they as expressive as hand writing, or has something been lost?
